How it works

1. Activate Kiki-Jiki by tapping it, creating a token copy of Hostage Taker.
2. When the Hostage Taker token enters the battlefield, it triggers, exiling Kiki-Jiki until Hostage Taker leaves the battlefield.
3. Activate Phantom Train by sacrificing the Hostage Taker token.
4. When the Hostage Taker token dies, Kiki-Jiki is returned from exile to the battlefield.
5. Resolve the Phantom Train ability.
6. Repeat.

This looping setup relies on Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker repeatedly cloning Hostage Taker, whose entry trigger exiles Kiki-Jiki to break the mirror and set up an infinite cycle. To close the loop, Phantom Train steps in as a dependable outlet, ready to sacrifice the Hostage Taker token to its ability—which conveniently returns Kiki-Jiki from exile back to the battlefield so it can restart the whole process.
