How it works
- Activate Lurking Roper using Kiki-Jiki's ability by tapping it, creating a token copy of itself with haste.
- When the Lurking Roper token enters the battlefield, Ajani's Welcome triggers, causing you to gain 1 life.
- Each Lurking Roper you control triggers, untapping themselves.
- Repeat.
- You may also target any nonlegendary creature you control.
This loop relies on Agatha's Soul Cauldron to grant Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker's activated ability to Lurking Roper, turning the Roper into a self-contained copy machine. By tapping the Roper to make a copy of itself, you trigger Ajani's Welcome, which grants the life gain necessary to immediately untap Lurking Roper via its own passive triggered ability. Because the token enters with haste and inherits the same activated ability through the Cauldron, you can repeat the process infinitely to generate an army of hasty copies while fueling infinite life.
