How it works

1. Play Dormant Volcano.
2. When Dormant Volcano enters, it and Retreat to Emeria trigger.
3. Resolve the Retreat to Emeria trigger, creating a 1/1 Kor Ally creature token.
4. When the Kor Ally enters, Haru triggers, earthbending Dormant Volcano.
5. Resolve the Dormant Volcano trigger from step 2, causing you to sacrifice it
6. Haru triggers, returning Dormant Volcano from your graveyard to the battlefield.
7. Repeat from step 2.

This delightful loop leverages the self-sacrificing nature of Dormant Volcano to trigger an endless cycle of land drops and ally arrivals. Every time the Volcano enters the battlefield, Retreat to Emeria rewards your landfall with a fresh Kor Ally token. That new ally's arrival immediately calls upon Haru, Hidden Talent to earthbend the entering land, turning the Volcano into a creature that conveniently meets its demise when the Volcano's own sacrifice trigger resolves. Thanks to Haru's lingering watchful eye, that doomed land springs right back to the battlefield tapped, ready to repeat the entire sequence and flood the board with an endless army of tokens.
