How it works

  1. Cast Phantasmal Image by paying 1U mana, choosing to have it enter the battlefield as a copy of Swift Warkite.
  2. When Phantasmal Image enters the battlefield, it triggers.
  3. Holding priority, activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Phantasmal Image, adding CC.
  4. Resolve the Phantasmal Image trigger, returning Phantasmal Image from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of Swift Warkite.
  5. Repeat from step 2.
