How it works

  1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Phantasmal Image, adding CC.
  2. Phantasmal Image dies, triggering its second ability and Body Launderer's first ability.
  3. Resolve the Phantasmal Image trigger, returning Phyrexian Metamorph from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of Body Launderer.
  4. Resolve the Body Launderer trigger, causing it to connive.
  5. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Phyrexian Metamorph, adding CC.
  6. Phyrexian Metamorph dies, triggering its second ability and Body Launderer's first ability.
  7. Resolve the Phyrexian Metamorph trigger, returning Phantasmal Image from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of Body Launderer.
  8. Resolve the Body Launderer trigger, causing it to connive.
  9. Repeat.
