How it works

1. Activate Viscera Seer by sacrificing Phantasmal Image.
2. When Phantasmal Image dies, its last ability from Cavalier of Night triggers, returning itself from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of Cavalier of Night.
3. When Phantasmal Image enters the battlefield, its first triggered ability from Cavalier of Night triggers; choose not to sacrifice a creature.
4. Resolve the Viscera Seer ability from step 1.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop turns Viscera Seer into an engine for infinite sacrifices by using Phantasmal Image to continuously clone Cavalier of Night. Because Phantasmal Image enters the battlefield as a fresh copy of Cavalier of Night each time, it constantly triggers its own resurrection loop without ever needing to pay a sacrifice cost for its entry ability. As Viscera Seer lets you sacrifice the copy repeatedly, the original Cavalier of Night's death trigger ensures the clone keeps coming right back from the graveyard.
