How it works

1. Activate Bloodflow Connoisseur by sacrificing Phantasmal Image.
2. When Phantasmal Image dies, it triggers, returning itself from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of Driver of the Dead.
3. Resolve the Bloodflow Connoisseur ability from step 1.
4. Repeat.

This clever looping engine relies on Phantasmal Image entering the battlefield as a copy of Driver of the Dead, creating a self-sustaining cycle of resurrection. When you feed that cloned Driver into Bloodflow Connoisseur as a sacrifice, its own death trigger fires to pull the Phantasmal Image right back out of the graveyard—ready to clone the Driver once more. Meanwhile, Bloodflow Connoisseur happily accepts each sacrifice to grow endlessly large, feeding you an infinite stream of creature deaths and enters-the-battlefield triggers.
