How it works

1. Activate Goblin Bombardment by sacrificing Phantasmal Image.
2. When Phantasmal Image dies, it triggers, returning itself from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of Driver of the Dead.
3. Resolve the Goblin Bombardment ability from step 1.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop turns a modest sacrifice outlet into a lethal finisher by exploiting the dynamic nature of clone mechanics. With Driver of the Dead already on the battlefield, you cast Phantasmal Image to enter as a copy of it, setting the stage for Goblin Bombardment to sacrifice the Image. Because the dying copy triggers its own resurrected ability—which targets creature cards with mana value 2 or less, neatly covering Phantasmal Image in the graveyard—it returns directly to the battlefield as another Driver of the Dead to repeat the cycle. Each iteration costs nothing yet yields a fresh sacrifice for Goblin Bombardment, letting you endlessly ping any target until the opposition is completely dismantled.
