How it works

1. Cast The Master either from your hand or from the command zone by paying plus command tax, if applicable, choosing to have it enter the battlefield as a copy of Ruthless Technomancer.
2. When The Master enters the battlefield, it triggers, causing you to sacrifice Phantasmal Image and create at least two Treasure tokens.
3. Activate a Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding .
4. Activate The Master by paying and sacrificing a Treasure, returning Phantasmal Image from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of The Master, which causes the Phantasmal Image to be a copy of Ruthless Technomancer.
5. When Phantasmal Image enters the battlefield, it triggers, causing you to sacrifice The Master and create two Treasure tokens.
6. Activate a Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding .
7. Activate Phantasmal Image by paying and sacrificing a Treasure, returning The Master from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of Ruthless Technomancer.
8. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop relies on trading legends back and forth to fuel an endless cycle of sacrifice and resurrection. By casting The Master, Formed Anew so that it enters as a copy of Ruthless Technomancer, you gain an entry trigger that feeds your economy by sacrificing Phantasmal Image for Treasure tokens. Thanks to Training Grounds, the mana cost to activate Ruthless Technomancer's recursion ability is drastically reduced, allowing you to bring Phantasmal Image straight back from the graveyard. That returning image immediately enters as a copy of The Master, Formed Anew to sacrifice the original and repeat the process indefinitely.
