How it works

1. Cast Phantasmal Image by paying 0 due to Aluren, choosing to have it enter the battlefield as a copy of Mischievous Pup.
2. When Phantasmal Image enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Mischievous Pup from the battlefield to your hand.
3. Cast Mischievous Pup by paying 0 due to Aluren.
4. When Mischievous Pup enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Phantasmal Image from the battlefield to your hand.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop relies entirely on Aluren to completely bypass mana costs for small creatures, allowing you to cast them at instant speed for free. You first deploy Phantasmal Image as a copy of Mischievous Pup, which triggers its ability to bounce the original Mischievous Pup back to your hand.
