How it works

1. Activate Umbral Collar Zealot by sacrificing Infernal Vessel.
2. When Infernal Vessel dies, it triggers, returning itself from your graveyard to the battlefield as a Demon in addition to its other types.
3. Resolve the Umbral Collar Zealot ability.
4. Activate Umbral Collar Zealot by sacrificing Infernal Vessel.
5. When Infernal Vessel dies, Valkyrie's Call triggers, returning Infernal Vessel from your graveyard to the battlefield as an Angel in additional to its other types.
6. Resolve the Umbral Collar Zealot ability.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop hinges on the overlapping rescue effects of Infernal Vessel and Valkyrie's Call to continuously feed Umbral Collar Zealot's sacrifice ability. Because Infernal Vessel becomes a Demon when it returns, its own death trigger only fires the first time around; thereafter, Valkyrie's Call steps in to continuously return the creature to the battlefield as an Angel. This seamless handoff allows you to sacrifice the same creature over and over again, fueling an infinite storm of death triggers and endless surveil.
