How it works

1. Activate Umbral Collar Zealot by sacrificing the persist creature.
2. When the persist creature dies, it and Tresserhorn's Lord trigger.
3. Resolve the Tresserhorn's Lord trigger, causing you to draw a card.
4. Resolve the persist creature's trigger, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
5. When the persist creature enters the battlefield, Olivia triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on the persist creature and causing you to discard a card.
6. Resolve the Umbral Collar Zealot ability.
7. Repeat.

This ingenious loop lets you tear through your entire deck by weaponizing the classic persist mechanic alongside an engine of relentless sacrifice. You start by using Umbral Collar Zealot to feed a creature with persist into the graveyard, which immediately satisfies Tresserhorn's Lord, Returned and rewards you with a fresh card from its death-triggered ability. When that creature returns to the battlefield, Olivia, Mobilized for War steps in to grant it a +1/+1 counter and haste while letting you discard a card, neutralizing the crippling -1/-}$1 counter and setting the stage to sacrifice it all over again.
