How it works

1. Cause Viridian Joiner to become an artifact using Ashnod's Transmogrant.
2. Activate Viridian Joiner by tapping it, adding at least 3.
3. Activate Voltaic Construct by paying 2, untapping Viridian Joiner.
4. Repeat from step 2.

This clever pairing transforms a humble mana dork into a self-sustaining powerhouse by utilizing Ashnod's Transmogrant to permanently turn Viridian Joiner into an artifact. Once it shares that artifact type, Voltaic Construct can step in to untap it for a mere two mana. Because Viridian Joiner naturally produces green mana equal to its power—which easily exceeds the untap cost once it holds a counter—you generate a surplus of infinite green mana with every single loop.
