How it works

1. Activate Viscera Seer by sacrificing Morselhoarder.
2. When Morselhoarder dies, its undying ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield without a +1/+1 counter on it due to its replacement effect.
3. Resolve the Viscera Seer ability
4. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on the constant interplay between Morselhoarder and Mikaeus, the Unhallowed, whose passive lord effect grants undying to all other non-Human creatures you control. Because Morselhoarder enters the battlefield with two -1/-1 counters that immediately cancel out any +1/+1 counters it receives, its undying trigger can fire off turn after turn without restriction. Viscera Seer acts as the engine's outlet, turning each sacrifice into infinite death triggers, scries, and a steady stream of colored mana generated by Morselhoarder itself.
