How it works

1. Activate Carrion Feeder by sacrificing Morselhoarder.
2. When Morselhoarder dies, its undying ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield without a +1/+1 counter on it due to its replacement effect.
3. Resolve the Carrion Feeder ability
4. Repeat.

This elegant loop turns Mikaeus, the Unhallowed into the ultimate enabler, granting undying to our non-Human key pieces so they can cheat death over and over again. By feeding Morselhoarder to Carrion Feeder, Morselhoarder hits the graveyard with no counters and immediately returns to the battlefield thanks to that undying buff. Best of all, you can strip away Morselhoarder's inherent -1/-1 counters for free mana along the way, offsetting any counter-interaction issues and generating an endless supply of sacrifice triggers, ETBs, and colored mana.
