How it works

1. Activate Carrion Feeder by sacrifiicing Pith Driller.
2. When Pith Driller dies, its undying ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it.
3. When Pith Driller enters the battlefield, it triggers, putting a -1/-1 counter on it.
4. Resolve the Carrion Feeder ability, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
5. Repeat.

This looping engine transforms the synergy between Mikaeus, the Unhallowed and Pith Driller into an infinite recycling machine, fueled by Carrion Feeder's appetite. Thanks to Mikaeus, the Unhallowed granting undying to non-Human creatures, Pith Driller returns from the graveyard with a +1/+1 counter whenever it dies. However, Pith Driller's own entry trigger immediately places a -1/-1 counter upon itself, which brilliantly negates the existing +1/+1 counter through state-based actions. This leaves Pith Driller perpetually primed to die again whenever Carrion Feeder sacrifices it, simultaneously growing Carrion Feeder's power infinitely while generating endless death and entry triggers.
