How it works

1. Activate Bartolomé del Presidio by sacrificing Soulstinger.
2. When Soulstinger dies, its undying ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it.
3. When Soulstinger enters the battlefield, it triggers, putting a -1/-1 counter on it.
4. Resolve the Bartolomé del Presidio ability
5. Repeat.

This clever loop hinges on Mikaeus, the Unhallowed granting undying to your other non-Human creatures, turning each demise into a resurrection. When you feed Soulstinger to Bartolomé del Presidio, Mikaeus brings Soulstinger right back to the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter. However, Soulstinger's own entrance trigger forces you to place two -1/-1 counters upon it, and state-based actions immediately cancel out a +1/+1 and a -1/-1 counter, leaving Soulstinger clean of counters and ready to repeat the cycle infinitely.
