How it works

1. Activate Yahenni by sacrificing Otherworldly Escort.
2. When Otherworldly Escort dies, it triggers, returning itself from your graveyard to the battlefield as a Spirit Detective.
3. Resolve the Yahenni ability.
4. Activate Yahenni by sacrificing Otherworldly Escort.
5. When Otherworldly Escort dies, its undying ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it.
6. Resolve the Yahenni ability.
7. Repeat.

By feeding Otherworldly Escort to Yahenni, Undying Partisan's sacrifice ability, you trigger a clever loop that lets you cycle the Escort infinitely through your graveyard. Because Otherworldly Escort's own death trigger transforms it into a Spirit Detective the first time it dies, subsequent deaths rely entirely on Mikaeus, the Unhallowed to grant it undying and bring it right back to the battlefield. Yahenni happily grows larger with each iteration while generating an endless stream of sacrifice and death triggers to overwhelm your opponents.
