How it works

1. Activate Krark-Clan Ironworks by sacrificing Optimus Prime, Hero, adding CC.
2. When Optimus Prime, Hero dies, its second ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield as Optimus Prime, Autobot Leader.
3. Activate Krark-Clan Ironworks by sacrificing Optimus Prime, Autobot Leader, adding CC.
4. When Optimus Prime, Autobot Leader dies, Mikaeus triggers, returning Optimus Prime from your graveyard to the battlefield as Optimus Prime, Hero with a +1/+1 counter on it.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on the constant transformation and graveyard recursion of Optimus Prime, Hero / Optimus Prime, Autobot Leader to endlessly fuel Krark-Clan Ironworks for infinite colorless mana. While Krark-Clan Ironworks provides the sacrifice outlet and mana engine, Mikaeus, the Unhallowed is the crucial passive link that grants undying to non-Human creatures like the Autobot Leader side, neutralizing the +1/+1 counters it accumulates and ensuring the cycle can start anew.
