How it works
Activate Viscera Seer by sacrificing Dockside Extortionist.
When Dockside Extortionist dies, its undying ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it.
When Dockside Extortionist enters the battlefield, it triggers, creating at least five Treasure artifact tokens.
Resolve the Viscera Seer ability from step 1, causing you to scry 1.
Activate five Treasures by tapping and sacrificing them, adding 4.
Activate Resourceful Defense by paying 4, moving all +1/+1 counters from Dockside Extortionist onto another permanent you control.
Repeat.
If opponents control six or more artifacts and/or enchantments, this combo nets infinite Treasure tokens and colored mana.
This ingenious loop uses Mikaeus, the Unhallowed to grant undying to Dockside Extortionist, allowing the goblin to constantly resurrect itself whenever Viscera Seer sends it to the graveyard. Because Dockside Extortionist generates a flood of Treasure tokens upon entering the battlefield—provided your opponents have enough artifacts and enchantments—you will easily fund the mana cost needed to clear away its +1/+1 counters. That is where Resourceful Defense shines, allowing you to continually strip those counters off the resurrected goblin so that undying can trigger all over again, fueling an unstoppable engine of infinite mana and sacrificial value.
