How it works

1. Activate Woe Strider by sacrificing the other Dinosaur.
2. When the Dinosaur dies, its undying ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield without a +1/+1 counter on it due to the -1/-1 counter it will gain from Blue.
3. Resolve the Woe Strider ability.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop turns Mikaeus, the Unhallowed into an engine for infinite sacrifices by granting your creatures undying, which normally brings them back with a +1/+1 counter. However, Blue, Loyal Raptor cleverly shifts that math by causing your Dinosaurs to enter with a counter that cancels it out, preventing the counter build-up that would otherwise stop the recursion. Woe Strider acts as the necessary sacrifice outlet to keep the loop going endlessly, letting you churn through your deck with infinite scry triggers while generating infinite leaves-the-battlefield, enters-the-battlefield, and death triggers.
