How it works
- Activate Basalt Monolith by tapping it, adding CCC.
- Activate Eldrazi Displacer by paying 2C, blinking Wernog.
- When Wernog leaves and enters, it triggers twice, creating at least two Clue tokens.
- Activate Clock of Omens by tapping the Clues, untapping Basalt Monolith.
- Repeat.
This ingenious loop centers around Eldrazi Displacer repeatedly blinking Wernog, Rider's Chaplain to flood the battlefield with Clue tokens on both sides. To sustain this engine, Basalt Monolith provides the colorless mana required for the blink, while Clock of Omens leverages the newly created Clues by tapping them to untap the monolith. As the cycle repeats, the constant movement of Wernog, Rider's Chaplain triggers endless enter-and-leave-the-battlefield events, ultimately draining your opponents and burying you in infinite resources.
