How it works

1. Activate Carrion Feeder by sacrificing Shambling Ghast.
2. When Shambling Ghast dies, it, Mortuary and Archghoul of Thraben trigger.
3. Resolve the Mortuary trigger, putting Shambling Ghast on top of your library.
4. Resolve the Shambling Ghast trigger, creating a Treasure artifact token.
5. Resolve the Archghoul of Thraben trigger, revealing Shambling Ghast from the top of your library and putting it into your hand.
6. Resolve the Carrion Feeder ability, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
7. Activate the Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding .
8. Cast Shambling Ghast by paying .
9. Repeat.

This clever loop puts Carrion Feeder to work by feeding it Shambling Ghast over and over, growing the Feeder infinitely larger while generating endless death and sacrifice triggers. Every time the Ghast hits the graveyard, Mortuary neatly recycles it straight to the top of your library, where Archghoul of Thraben instantly spots it and draws it right back into your hand. Meanwhile, Shambling Ghast's own death trigger spits out a Treasure token, which you can easily sacrifice to pay the exact black mana needed to recast the Ghast and keep the whole engine spinning.
