How it works

1. Activate Woe Strider by sacrificing Shambling Ghast.
2. When Shambling Ghast dies, it, Mortuary and Archghoul of Thraben trigger.
3. Resolve the Mortuary trigger, putting Shambling Ghast on top of your library.
4. Resolve the Shambling Ghast trigger, creating a Treasure artifact token.
5. Resolve the Archghoul of Thraben trigger, revealing Shambling Ghast from the top of your library and putting it into your hand.
6. Resolve the Woe Strider ability, causing you to scry 1.
7. Activate the Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding .
8. Cast Shambling Ghast by paying .
9. Repeat.

This clever loop harnesses the relentless cycle of undeath by turning a single dying minion into an endless stream of sacrifices. When you sacrifice Shambling Ghast to Woe Strider, Mortuary instantly intercepts the creature as it hits the graveyard and tucks it right back onto the top of your library. From there, Archghoul of Thraben capitalizes on that exact death to fish the Ghast straight out of your library and back into your hand. Meanwhile, Shambling Ghast's own death trigger leaves behind a Treasure token, generating the exact black mana needed to cast the Ghast over and over again.
