How it works

1. Cast Time Stretch by paying 8, taking two extra turns after this one.
2. At the beginning of your next upkeep, Progenitor Mimic triggers, creating a token copy of Warden of the Eye.
3. When the token Warden of the Eye enters the battlefield, it triggers itself, returning Time Stretch from your graveyard to your hand.
4. Repeat.

This loop achieves an impenetrable lock on the game by chaining infinite turns, fueled entirely by the recursive recursion of Warden of the Eye. By casting Time Stretch, you take two extra turns, granting you the necessary window to set up your board state. Once Progenitor Mimic enters the fray as a copy of Warden of the Eye, its non-token upkeep trigger dutifully churns out a fresh Warden of the Eye token every turn cycle. Each time that token arrives, its enter-the-battlefield ability plucks Time Stretch right back out of your graveyard and into your hand, ready to be cast all over again to keep the infinite turns rolling indefinitely.
