How it works

1. Activate Wild Cantor by sacrificing it.
2. When Wild Cantor dies, Mortuary and Dross Harvester trigger.
3. Resolve the Mortuary trigger, putting Wild Cantor from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
4. Resolve the Dross Harvester trigger, causing you to gain 2 life
5. Cast Wild Cantor from the top of your library by paying 1 life.
6. Repeat.

This clever loop turns a modest one-mana sacrifice into an endless engine of life and mana. By using Bolas's Citadel to cast Wild Cantor straight off the top of your library for a mere 1 life instead of its mana cost, you can repeatedly sacrifice the Cantor for any color of mana. Every time the Cantor dies, Mortuary ensures it neatly returns to the top of your library while Dross Harvester steps in to pad your life total, easily offsetting the life paid to the Citadel.
