How it works

1. Activate Champion of the Weird by paying 1 life and putting two -1/-1 counters on Stormbound Geist.
2. Stormbound Geist dies due to having 0 toughness, triggering its undying ability and Dross Harvester
3. Resolve the Dross Harvester trigger, causing you to gain 2 life.
4. Resolve the Stormbound Geist trigger, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it.
5. Resolve the Champion of the Weird ability from step 1, causing an opponent to blight 2.
6. Activate Champion of the Weird by paying 1 life and putting two -1/-1 counters on Stormbound Geist, causing an opponent to blight 2.
7. Repeat.

This loop turns Champion of the Weird into a repeatable source of life loss by weaponizing its ability to place two -1/-1 counters on Stormbound Geist until the Geist perishes from having zero toughness. Each time Stormbound Geist dies without any +1/+1 counters on it, its undying ability rescues it by returning it to the battlefield with a counter, and Dross Harvester steps in with its passive life-gain trigger to offset the life you paid for the activation. Because the undying counter is wiped clean the moment the Geist dies and returns, you can immediately repeat the process to bury your opponents under endless -1/-1 counters and death triggers.
