How it works

1. Activate Downdraft by paying , causing Luminous Broodmoth to lose flying until end of turn.
2. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Luminous Broodmoth, adding .
3. Dross Harvester triggers, causing you to gain two life.
4. Luminous Broodmoth triggers, returning itself from your graveyard to the battlefield with a flying counter on it.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop turns Luminous Broodmoth into an engine of endless rebirth by using Downdraft to strip away its native flying, allowing it to trigger its own revival ability whenever it dies. By sacrificing the Moth to Phyrexian Altar, you generate the green mana needed to reactivate Downdraft and feed the cycle while also fueling Dross Harvester's passive lifegain ability to comfortably offset any costs. Every iteration recycles the Broodmoth right back to the battlefield with a flying counter—which Downdraft immediately removes for the next loop—generating an uninterrupted chain of sacrifices and life.
