How it works

1. Activate Champion of the Weird by paying 1 life and putting two -1/-1 counters on Relentless Skaabs.
2. Relentless Skaabs dies due to having 0 toughness, triggering its undying ability and Dross Harvester
3. Resolve the Dross Harvester trigger, causing you to gain 2 life.
4. Resolve the Relentless Skaabs trigger, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it.
5. Resolve the Champion of the Weird ability from step 1, causing an opponent to blight 2.
6. Activate Champion of the Weird by paying 1 life and putting two -1/-1 counters on Relentless Skaabs, causing an opponent to blight 2.
7. Repeat.

This engine turns Champion of the Weird into a repeatable source of destruction by using its ability to continually shrink Relentless Skaabs down to zero toughness. Each time Relentless Skaabs perishes, Dross Harvester steps in to offset the life payment with its death-triggered healing, while the undying mechanic immediately resurrects the Skaabs with a +1/+1 counter to reset its toughness for the next iteration. Because Champion of the Weird's ability requires you to pay 1 life and place two -1/-1 counters on its target, you can cycle this sequence indefinitely as long as Dross Harvester's lifegain keeps you afloat, churning out endless death and enter-the-battlefield triggers.
