How it works

1. Activate Spore Frog by sacrificing it.
2. When Spore Frog dies, Mortuary and Dross Harvester trigger.
3. Resolve the Mortuary trigger, putting Spore Frog from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
4. Resolve the Dross Harvester trigger, causing you to gain 2 life
5. Resolve the Spore Frog ability.
6. Cast Spore Frog from the top of your library by paying 1 life.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop locks down combat entirely while spinning your life total in circles, all anchored by Mortuary quietly recycling every creature sent to your graveyard right back to the top of your library. From there, Gwenom, Remorseless grants you permission to cast that creature straight off the library, using life instead of mana to pay its cost thanks to Gwenom's alternative payment effect. That life is easily replenished by Dross Harvester, which rewards each death with a life buffer—even helping to offset Dross Harvester's own end-step penalty while you repeatedly sacrifice Spore Frog to fog every combat phase indefinitely.
