How it works

  1. Activate a creature by tapping it.
  2. Magda triggers, as the creature is a Dwarf due to Maskwood Nexus, creating a 1/1 Thopter artifact creature token and a Treasure token due to Stridehangar Automaton.
  3. Repeat.

Maskwood Nexus is the crucial glue of this engine, turning every creature you control into a Dwarf and a Thopter so they can play nicely with the rest of the board. With Citanul Hierophants granting your creatures the ability to tap for green mana, tapping a creature triggers Magda, Brazen Outlaw to spit out a Treasure token—which Stridehangar Automaton kindly doubles into *both* a Treasure and an additional 1/1 Thopter. Meanwhile, Hammer of Purphoros ensures your newly minted tokens can act immediately by granting them haste, allowing you to cycle them right back into the tap-and-untap loop to generate infinite mana and artifact tokens. Once your coffers are overflowing, Magda's second ability lets you cash in five Treasures to tutor up any artifact or Dragon from your library directly onto the battlefield.
