How it works

1. During an opponent's turn, activate Heart of Kiran by tapping Wylie Duke.
2. Wylie Duke triggers, causing you to draw a card and gain 1 life.
3. The Watcher's first ability triggers, creating a 1/1 Tentacle creature token.
4. Resolve the Heart of Kiran ability, causing it to become a creature until end of turn.
5. Activate Bloodflow Connoisseur by sacrificing the Tentacle.
6. When the Tentacle dies, The Watcher's second ability triggers, untapping Wylie Duke and putting a stun counter on up to one permanent.
7. Resolve the Bloodflow Connoisseur ability
8. Repeat.

Maskwood Nexus is the secret glue of this assembly, making every creature you control—including the token created by The Watcher in the Water—gain the Kraken type so that they can interact with its death triggers. By tapping Wylie Duke, Atiin Hero to pay the crew cost for Heart of Kiran, you trigger Wylie Duke's ability to draw a card during your opponent's turn, which in turn causes The Watcher in the Water to spawn a Tentacle. You then feed that Tentacle to Bloodflow Connoisseur, and when it dies, The Watcher's second ability uses that Kraken subtype to untap Wylie Duke, letting you repeat the entire loop endlessly for infinite card draw and lifegain.
