How it works

  1. Activate a creature by tapping it.
  2. Magda triggers, as the creature is a Dwarf due to Maskwood Nexus, creating a 1/1 Thopter artifact creature token and a Treasure token due to Stridehangar Automaton.
  3. Repeat.

This magnificent engine begins with Maskwood Nexus, which fundamentally rewrites reality by turning every creature you control into a Dwarf, Elf, Thopter, and Dragon all at once. Because of this sweeping typeline change, any tap—such as tapping for mana using Song of Freyalise's chapters—makes Magda, Brazen Outlaw see a Dwarf becoming tapped. That trigger then feeds into Stridehangar Automaton, turning every single artifact token creation into both a Treasure and an extra 1/1 Thopter. Since those new Thopters are also Dwarves, tapping them to repeat the process creates an exponentially compounding loop of infinite colored mana, infinite tokens, and infinite artifact triggers. Once you have drowned the board in wealth, you can finally cash out Magda, Brazen Outlaw's sacrifice ability to pull every artifact and Dragon—including the devastating Dragonlord Kolaghan—straight from your library onto the battlefield for the win.
