How it works

  1. Activate a creature by tapping it.
  2. Magda triggers, as the creature is a Dwarf due to Maskwood Nexus, creating a 1/1 Thopter artifact creature token and a Treasure token due to Stridehangar Automaton.
  3. Repeat.

This intricate assembly transforms the humble act of tapping a creature into an engine of overwhelming abundance, all made possible because Maskwood Nexus blankets your entire army in every creature type. Thanks to this universal typing, any creature you control counts as a Dwarf to fuel Magda, Brazen Outlaw, meaning every time you tap that creature for mana using Cryptolith Rite's granted ability, Magda triggers to generate a Treasure token. Stridehangar Automaton supercharges this loop by turning that single artifact token creation into both a Treasure and an additional 1/1 Thopter artifact creature token, which itself instantly enters ready to be tapped right back into the engine. Once you have sufficiently buried your opponents in infinite tokens and colored mana, Magda's ultimate sacrifice ability lets you tutor your library for devastating threats like Dragonlord Kolaghan to close out the game.
