How it works

1. Tap Captain of the Mists, to create a 1/1 Elf Warrior token.
2. Captain of the Mists triggers, untapping.
3. Repeat.

This clever loop turns your own army into a self-sustaining engine by letting Maskwood Nexus grant every creature you control the Human type, allowing newly spawned tokens to instantly trigger Captain of the Mists. With Presence of Gond enchanting the Captain, you gain the ability to tap it to create a 1/1 green Elf Warrior token. That new token's arrival as a Human immediately untaps Captain of the Mists, readying it to tap again for an endless cascade of creatures and enters-the-battlefield triggers.
