How it works

1. Cast Angel of Glory's Rise by paying 5.
2. When Angel of Glory's Rise enters the battlefield, it triggers.
3. Holding priority, activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Angel of Glory's Rise, adding CC.
4. Resolve the Angel of Glory's Rise trigger, exiling all Zombies, then returning all creature cards from your graveyard to the battlefield.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This loop transforms Angel of Glory's Rise into a self-sustaining engine thanks to Maskwood Nexus, which continuously bestows every creature type—including Zombie and Human—onto the Angel itself and all other creatures you own. When Angel of Glory's Rise enters the battlefield, its triggered ability wipes out any Zombies and pulls all creature cards from your graveyard straight back into play. You can immediately sacrifice the Angel to Ashnod's Altar for colorless mana before that trigger even resolves, placing it safely in the graveyard ready to be brought back by its own effect. By repeating this cycle, Maskwood Nexus ensures the Angel always counts as a Human to trigger its own resurrection and a Zombie to satisfy the exile clause, generating infinite mana, death triggers, and enter-the-battlefield effects.
