How it works

  1. Activate a creature by tapping it.
  2. Magda triggers, as the creature is a Dwarf due to Maskwood Nexus, creating a 1/1 Thopter artifact creature token and a Treasure token due to Stridehangar Automaton.
  3. Repeat.

This intricate engine relies on Maskwood Nexus to turn every creature you control into a Dwarf, allowing any tap ability to trigger Magda, Brazen Outlaw's treasure-generation ability. Thanks to Stridehangar Automaton, tapping a creature for mana via Citanul Hierophants doesn't just net you a Treasure—it also creates an extra Thopter token, which is also a Dwarf and instantly ready to tap again. Samut, Voice of Dissent provides the active engine by using its tap ability to untap your mana-producer, keeping the loop going endlessly while yielding infinite tokens and mana. Once your board overflows with riches, you can cash in Magda, Brazen Outlaw's sacrifice ability to tutor every artifact and a massive subset of creatures directly out of your library and onto the battlefield.
