How it works

  1. Activate a creature by tapping it.
  2. Magda triggers, as the creature is a Dwarf due to Maskwood Nexus, creating a 1/1 Thopter artifact creature token and a Treasure token due to Stridehangar Automaton.
  3. Repeat.

This ingenious engine hinges on Maskwood Nexus to rewrite every creature you control into a Dwarf, a Thopter, and every other creature type, ensuring that the mana-generating ability granted by Citanul Hierophants also immediately satisfies Magda, Brazen Outlaw's tapping requirement. Whenever you tap a creature for mana, Magda’s triggered ability fires, which Stridehangar Automaton expertly supercharges by throwing in an extra 1/1 Thopter alongside your new Treasure token. Because Stridehangar Automaton's replacement effect creates another artifact creature, and because Garna, the Bloodflame gives your creatures haste alongside her card-returning prowess, you can endlessly loop this tapping and generating to flood the board and tutor your entire deck.
