How it works

  1. Activate a creature by tapping it.
  2. Magda triggers, as the creature is a Dwarf due to Maskwood Nexus, creating a 1/1 Thopter artifact creature token and a Treasure token due to Stridehangar Automaton.
  3. Repeat.

Maskwood Nexus does the heavy lifting here by turning all your creatures into every creature type, ensuring that Stridehangar Automaton and Magda, Brazen Outlaw recognize every creature you control as a Dwarf. With A Realm Reborn granting your permanents the ability to tap for mana, tapping a creature sets off a brilliant chain reaction: Magda rewards you with a Treasure token, which Stridehangar Automaton amplifies by tossing in an extra Thopter token for good measure. Temur Ascendancy rounds it all out by giving your creatures haste so you can immediately dive back into the tapping loop. Once you've generated an endless sea of tokens, you can cash in Magda's massive horde of Treasures to fetch every single artifact and a terrifying subset of creature cards straight from your library onto the battlefield.
