How it works

  1. Activate a creature by tapping it.
  2. Magda triggers, as the creature is a Dwarf due to Maskwood Nexus, creating a 1/1 Thopter artifact creature token and a Treasure token due to Stridehangar Automaton.
  3. Repeat.

This explosive engine starts by using Song of Freyalise to grant your creatures the ability to tap for mana, a process fueled by Maskwood Nexus seamlessly turning every creature you control into a Dwarf. Thanks to that universal typing, tapping your creatures also triggers Magda, Brazen Outlaw to generate a Treasure, which Stridehangar Automaton immediately supercharges into both a Treasure and an extra Thopter token. Because Stridehangar Automaton's replacement effect continually pumps out those Thopters—which Maskwood Nexus also makes Dwarves—you can tap them right back into the loop to generate infinite mana and artifact tokens. Once your coffers are overflowing, you can cash in Magda's massive horde of Treasures to tutor up every artifact in your deck, while Purphoros, Bronze-Blooded stands ready to give any smuggled-in threats haste to finish the game.
