How it works

  1. Activate a creature by tapping it.
  2. Magda triggers, as the creature is a Dwarf due to Maskwood Nexus, creating a 1/1 Thopter artifact creature token and a Treasure token due to Stridehangar Automaton.
  3. Repeat.

This engine thrives by turning the simple act of tapping a creature into a cascading wave of resources, all thanks to Maskwood Nexus rewriting the battlefield's types to make every creature you control a Dwarf. With Enduring Vitality granting every creature the ability to tap for any color of mana, Tyvar, Jubilant Brawler ensures you can start utilizing these activated abilities immediately with haste. Whenever you tap a creature to produce mana, Magda, Brazen Outlaw triggers from that Dwarf becoming tapped, while Stridehangar Automaton steps in to amplify your token production by replacing each Treasure with both a Treasure and an additional 1/1 Thopter. This loop endlessly generates infinite mana and artifacts, which you can ultimately cash in by letting Magda sacrifice five Treasures to tutor every artifact and a subset of creatures directly from your library onto the battlefield.
