How it works

1. Cast Dread Slaver by paying 3.
2. When Dread Slaver enters the battlefield, Be'lakor's second ability triggers, causing Dread Slaver to deal damage equal to its power to itself.
3. Dread Slaver dies as a state-based action due to its deathtouch.
4. Dread Slaver triggers, returning itself from your graveyard to the battlefield.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This ingenious loop transforms your entire battlefield into a self-sustaining engine of doom, fueled by Maskwood Nexus making every creature you control a Demon. With this universal type change in place, casting Dread Slaver causes Be'lakor, the Dark Master to trigger and command the Slaver to deal damage to itself. Thanks to Archetype of Finality granting your creatures deathtouch, that self-inflicted damage is lethal, sending Dread Slaver straight to the graveyard. The Slaver's own triggered ability then immediately resurrects it, triggering Be'lakor anew to repeat the cycle for infinite enters-the-battlefield and death triggers.
