How it works

1. Cast Dread Slaver by paying 3.
2. When Dread Slaver enters the battlefield, Be'lakor's second ability triggers, causing Dread Slaver to deal damage equal to its power to itself.
3. Dread Slaver dies as a state-based action due to its deathtouch.
4. Dread Slaver triggers, returning itself from your graveyard to the battlefield.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This wicked loop relies on Maskwood Nexus to turn every creature you control—including Dread Slaver itself—into a Demon, which allows Be'lakor, the Dark Master to trigger whenever a creature enters the battlefield. Thanks to Zagras, Thief of Heartbeats granting deathtouch to your other creatures, Be'lakor's triggered ability deals lethal damage to Dread Slaver, sending it to the graveyard. Dread Slaver's own replacement-style trigger immediately capitalizes on that damage by resurrecting itself back to the battlefield, restarting the cycle for infinite entry, exit, and death triggers.
