How it works
Declare Altaïr as an attacker, triggering its ability, exiling Éomer from your graveyard with a memory counter on it and creating two tapped and attacking copies of Éomer.
Put all but one Éomer token into your graveyard due to the legend rule, causing you to get at least one Éomer trigger, causing you to untap all creatures you control and to get an additional combat phase after this one.
At the end of your combat phase, Altaïr triggers, causing you to exile the Éomer token.
Repeat each combat phase.
This clever loop turns your graveyard into a relentless revolving door of legendary warriors, all powered by Maskwood Nexus making every creature you own an Assassin in all zones. When Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad charges into battle, he exiles Éomer, Marshal of Rohan and multiplies the resulting token copies thanks to Exalted Sunborn's doubling effect. Because multiple Éomer tokens hit the battlefield at once, the legend rule immediately consigns the extras to the graveyard, which triggers the surviving Éomer's ability to untap your board and grant an extra combat phase. You can simply repeat this assault infinitely, cycling Éomer in and out of the graveyard to stack up endless combat steps.
