How it works

1. Declare Altaïr as an attacker. Altaïr triggers, exiling Éomer from your graveyard with a memory counter on it, and then creating a tapped and attacking token copy of each card you own that is exiled with a memory counter on it.
2. Activate Umbral Collar Zealot by sacrificing another legendary creature token except Éomer.
3. When the creature dies, Éomer triggers, untapping all creatures you control and causing you to get an additional combat phase after this one.
4. Resolve the Umbral Collar Zealot ability.
5. Repeat during each combat phase.

This intricate loop turns Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad into a one-man army by using Maskwood Nexus to blanket your entire board in every creature type, ensuring that every token generated counts as a legendary Assassin and everything else you need. When Altaïr attacks, he exiles Éomer, Marshal of Rohan from your graveyard to spawn a token copy of him directly into the fray, giving you the crucial legendary trigger piece. You then sacrifice a spare token to Umbral Collar Zealot, which neatly drops a legendary creature into the graveyard and triggers Éomer's static-fueled prowess to untap your board and grant you an additional combat phase. By repeating this process across endless combat steps, you generate infinite death triggers, enter-the-battlefield effects, and card selection via the zealot's surveil ability.
