How it works

1. Activate Phantom Train by sacrificing any other creature.
2. When the creature dies as a Cleric due to Maskwood Nexus, Rotlung Reanimator triggers, creating a 2/2 Zombie creature token.
3. Resolve the Phantom Train ability.
4. Repeat.

This ingenious loop turns a locomotive into a relentless engine of rebirth, leveraging Maskwood Nexus to rewrite the battlefield's biology so that every creature you control counts as a Cleric. That type-shifting synergy ensures that whenever you feed a creature to Phantom Train's sacrifice ability, Rotlung Reanimator instantly responds to the death by spawning a fresh Zombie token. Because this new token immediately inherits the universal creature types granted by Maskwood Nexus, it can be sacrificed right back to Phantom Train to pump the vehicle's stats and keep the chain going indefinitely.
