How it works

1. Activate Umbral Collar Zealot by sacrificing any other creature.
2. When the creature dies as a Cleric due to Maskwood Nexus, Rotlung Reanimator triggers, creating a 2/2 Zombie creature token.
3. Resolve the Umbral Collar Zealot ability.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop turns Maskwood Nexus into a universal type-shifter that makes every creature you control count as a Cleric, allowing Rotlung Reanimator to trigger every time one of your tokens falls. You feed those creatures into Umbral Collar Zealot's sacrifice ability to surveil through your deck, and because the dying creature immediately replaces itself with a fresh 2/2 Zombie token from the Reanimator, the cycle can repeat indefinitely. It's a fantastic engine for generating an endless storm of sacrifices, leaves-the-battlefield triggers, and enters-the-battlefield events.
