How it works

1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing another nontoken creature, adding CC.
2. When the creature dies, Nim Deathmantle triggers. Choose not to pay.
3. Activate Xu-Ifit by tapping it, returning a creature from your graveyard to the battlefield.
4. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Xu-Ifit, adding CC.
5. When Xu-Ifit dies, Nim Deathmantle triggers, causing you to pay 4 to return it from your graveyard to the battlefield and attach Nim Deathmantle to it.
6. Repeat.

This ingenious loop transforms Ashnod's Altar and Nim Deathmantle into an infinite resurrection engine for your fallen threats. While Urabrask the Hidden ensures your opponents' boards stay bottled up with creatures entering tapped, its presence also complements the loop by keeping your own revived forces ready for action. The key to sustaining the cycle is Xu-Ifit, Osteoharmonist, whose tap ability fishes a creature back out of the graveyard so the Altar can sacrifice it anew. Whenever Xu-Ifit itself meets its end in the process, Nim Deathmantle's triggered ability steps in, letting you pay the required mana to bring the Osteoharmonist right back alongside the equipment itself, keeping the endless sacrifice and death triggers flowing forever.
