How it works

  1. If Enduring Vitality is not a creature, activate Zur by paying 1W mana, causing Enduring Vitality to become a creature.
  2. Activate Enduring Vitality by tapping it, adding W mana.
  3. Activate Thermopod's second ability by sacrificing Enduring Vitality, adding R mana.
  4. When Enduring Vitality dies, it triggers, returning itself from your graveyard to the battlefield as an enchantment.
  5. Repeat.

This clever loop turns your non-creature enchantments into a self-sustaining engine by weaving together static abilities and resurrection mechanics. You start by using Zur, Eternal Schemer to animate Enduring Vitality into a creature, which grants all your creatures—and thus itself—the ability to tap for mana. You can then tap Enduring Vitality for mana before sacrificing it to Thermopod to generate red mana. Because Enduring Vitality is a creature when it dies, its own delayed-return trigger brings it right back to the battlefield as an enchantment, leaving Urabrask the Hidden safely on the sidelines to ensure everything else you control stays orderly.
