How it works

1. Cast Body of Research by paying , creating a 0/0 Fractal creature token, then putting a number of +1/+1 counters on it equal to your eck size.
2. Give the Fractal token haste, if needed.
3. Activate Sokrates by tapping it, targeting the Fractal token.
4. Declare the Fractal token as an attacker, attacking an opponent unable to block it.
5. When the Fractal token would deal combat damage, instead prevent that damage. The defending player draws cards equal to the Fractal's power, rounded down, while you will draw double that many cards due to Alhammarret's Archive.

This clever alliance turns a massive library into an overwhelming cascade of cards, beginning when Body of Research births a Fractal token whose colossal size matches your deck's remaining depth. By tapping Sokrates, Athenian Teacher, you bestow a replacement effect upon the Fractal that redirects its lethal combat damage into shared card draw. Because Alhammarret's Archive watches over your hand, every single card you are forced to draw beyond your turn's initial step is doubled, allowing you to rocket through your entire deck while your opponent drowns in their own half of the massive card draw.
